This tamper's clear acrylic housing shows the dual springs compressing as you press, giving visual confirmation right up to the calibrated 30lb stop point. Aluminum alloy connections reinforce the stress points around the transparent handle for daily high-pressure use. A large threaded base increases the water-contact surface area, and a self-leveling rim rests on the basket to keep the tamp straight.
