The Alpha uses a 1000W far-infrared heating tube to roast, mimicking the deep, even heat of a direct-fire setup while avoiding the tipping and facing defects that can come with it. A smart controller comes preloaded with roasting profiles for beginners, and a 3-stage mode lets you shift into manual control over heat and airflow as you get more comfortable. The drum is heavy-walled 304 stainless steel, with an integrated chaff collector and smoke filter for cleaner indoor roasting, and a motorized cooling tray drops bean temperature to room level within a few minutes of finishing.
