The Delta uses a 1000W far-infrared carbon heating tube to mimic direct-fire heat, penetrating the bean core evenly to avoid the surface scorching that comes from more aggressive direct-contact roasting. It connects over USB to both its own Akimita system and Artisan software, tracking rate of rise, exhaust temperature, and bean temperature curves in real time so you can replicate a roast precisely. A touch-display controller gives manual override of drum speed, airflow, and heat, and the drum is heavy-duty 304 stainless steel for efficient heat retention. A built-in smoke filter and quick-cooling fan cool a finished batch in under 5 minutes.
